What shapes an artist’s distinctive style, and what took Soile Yli-Mäyry from the small village of Mäyry in Kuortane to galleries around the world? When Jari Tervo and Yli-Mäyry meet, the conversation will explore life, art and what it means to be an artist.

Expect a lively exchange between two quick-witted conversationalists. The audience will also have the opportunity to ask Yli-Mäyry questions of their own.

Visitors can also explore Yli-Mäyry’s exhibition of paintings and glass sculptures at Finlandia Hall’s Showroom, on display until the end of October. The exhibition is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00–18:00.

Admission to both the interview in Helsinki Hall and the exhibition in the Showroom is free. Welcome!
