Finlandia Cafe&Wine’s summer Wednesday afterworks

The most relaxed Wednesday afterworks of the summer can be found on the terrace of the Finlandia Hall wine café Finlandia Cafe&Wine – come enjoy with friends, after a workday or as part of a summer tour in Helsinki!

Our hundred-seat terrace summer evenings are enjoyed especially on selected Wednesday evenings. Expect live music, DJ nights, refreshing summer drinks, good company, and delicious grill flavors in the stunning atmosphere of Töölönlahti.

All events on the terrace are free entry!

Afterwork DJ Evenings

During the summer, four afterwork DJ evenings will be held on the terrace, where the atmosphere will be created by DJ Rawbert & TsoniBoy, among others. Come raise a toast to summer, enjoy the music, and relax in the unique surroundings of the Finlandia Hall!

Rawbert is an avid music lover, versatile DJ, and event organizer. He has been playing at clubs and underground events across Finland for nearly ten years. Tech house is one of Rawbert’s greatest passions as a DJ. The set features iconic tech house tracks from the 2010s combined with newer, technical gems from his collection.

TsoniBoy has been active in the underground electronic music scene since the 90s. His sound dives into deep bass lines, catchy melodies, and unforgettable moments. On the terrace of Finlandia Hall, there will be an energetic blend of various shades, grooves, and uplifting vibes of the tech house genre that will keep the audience moving from start to finish.

Afterwork DJ nights will be held on June 3, July 1, July 29, and August 26.

Live Music in Summer Evenings

On the summer terrace of Finlandia Hall, four free live concerts will be held during the summer. On concert evenings, artists will perform on the terrace at 5 PM and 6 PM, and both sets will last about 45 minutes.

10.6. Pepe Willberg Trio

The Pepe Willberg Trio brings a nostalgic concert experience to the summer terrace, featuring the artist’s most beloved songs and classics he has made famous, all in a warm summer evening atmosphere.

The lineup features Pepe Willberg, Juha Lanu, and Aleksi Ahoniemi.

June 17. Country Couple

Country Couple presents modern country music with a Nordic touch. Narrative songs, harmonious sing-alongs, and a down-to-earth atmosphere create an approachable whole where the influences of traditional country meet contemporary expression.

15.7. Sami Saari and Trio Tempo

Sami Saari performs with Trio Tempo in an atmospheric jazz evening, featuring evergreen classics and well-known jazz standards. The event combines Saari’s distinctive interpretation, swinging trio jazz, and the stylish ambiance of a summer evening.

12.8. Osmo Ikonen

Osmo Ikonen performs solo and presents his own compositions as well as personal interpretations of well-known songs. The evening offers high-quality music, strong interpretation, and diverse expression.

Special Events in August

In August, two special events will also be enjoyed on the terrace of the Finlandia Hall.

August 13. Choirs’ Tour

The choir tour brings lively choral music into the summer terrace atmosphere.

20.8. Night of the Arts

On the Night of the Arts, Finlandia Hall participates in the city’s joint cultural celebration. The terrace invites you to spend the evening surrounded by art, music, and a summery atmosphere.

Grill hot all summer

The terrace grill of Finlandia Hall is open from the beginning of June, Wednesday to Saturday from 2 PM to 6:30 PM. During the peak season in July, from June 29 to August 1, the soup lunch at Finlandia Cafe&Wine is on summer break and the grill is open from Monday to Saturday from 11 AM to 6:30 PM. Finlandia Cafe&Wine is open until 7 PM.
