FINLANDIA CAFE&WINE and Finlandia Gallery

Fantastic Alvar Aalto’s design and unique atmosphere. FINLANDIA CAFE&WINE  is a completely unique place for lunch, coffee or a glass of champagne at the end of the working day. FINLANDIA CAFÉ is decorated with Alvar Aalto’s original furniture from Finlandia Hall. Boasting an authentic sustainable design, the café serves sweet and savory snacks, as well as a varied daily changing lunch. The exhibitions held at the Finlandia Gallery only add to the experience and are often a great reason to stop off at Finlandia Hall. Cafe&Wine & Gallery Veranda can be found on the Töölönlahti Bay side of the building.

Iconic architecture by Alvar Aalto

Finlandia Hall is one of the most iconic buildings designed by world-renowned Finnish architect, Alvar Aalto, and was planned from the ground up for visitors and a wide range of events. In addition to his overall vision for the building, Aalto designed many of its details, such as the lights and door handles, creating something very unique in the process. The building complements the surrounding park and forms an almost unbroken link with the local landscape. The interior includes many typical Aalto features, such as asymmetrical forms and natural materials and colors.
