The best-known event and festivity venue in Finland

Finlandia Hall is one of the best-known masterpieces by the great Finnish architect Alvar Aalto. But first of all, it is the leading congress, event and entertainment venue in Helsinki. It is centrally located in the heart of city but still by the sea and in park-like surroundings. With the latest technology, excellent customer service and first-class restaurant Finlandia Hall is ideal for various conferences, meetings, concerts and exhibitions of any size.

Main auditorium of Finlandia Hall seats 1,700. There is also a smaller, 340-seat
auditorium and more than 20 meeting rooms and seminar rooms of varying
sizes, accommodating 10 to 900 people. The current exhibition facilities have
about 6,000 m² of floor space. Last year Finlandia Hall had about 345,000 visitors.

Extension of Finlandia Hall

After the extension, which will be completed in 2011, Finlandia Hall will get more than 3,000 m² of new floor space. It will include modern, first class conference and exhibition facilities in original spirit and style of Alvar Aalto. The extension will mostly consist of a single large space. However, this light interior with large windows can be subdivided using movable partition walls into, for example, four smaller halls each capable of accommodating between 100 and 500 people.

This project will significantly improve the capacity of the building for hosting
international conferences and organizing meetings and exhibitions flexibly.
The adaptable new facilities will also be well suited for festive banquets at major
conferences or other events.
